6:52 AM. Sound familiar?
A trading floor in London. The overnight recon has flagged a break: a trade was amended at 6:05 PM yesterday, settlement bumped a day earlier. The amendment hit one system and never made it to the other.
- SettlementsYour EUR book's flat, right?
- TraderFlat. Squared it before the close.
- SettlementsThen why am I sitting on your 240 settling today? The nostro covers 80, CLS pay-in is in an hour.
The gap got covered through an o/n swap, a couple of bps worse than yesterday's level, on the unfunded 160 million. The real cost wasn't the payment. It was the twelve hours the break sat unnoticed between overnight batch runs.
Overnight reconciliation delivers yesterday's news.
FxPosition reconciles positions, deals and nostro balances continuously.
What changes
Before, the position was reconciled by hand in Excel from yesterday's files, rates were typed in from spreadsheets, reconciliation with the core system or ERP ran on paper. By noon the morning position was already yesterday's.
Now position, P/L and limits are computed against the live market, while rates and reconciliation run in the background without manual rework. Discrepancies surface the moment they appear, not the next day.
Capabilities
FX position
The FX position is computed online from every operation: per currency, at any moment in time.
| USD | +12.4 M | +1,240,000 |
| EUR | −3.8 M | -384,500 |
| CNY | +8.1 M | +96,200 |
| GBP | +1.2 M | +18,700 |
Live rates
Quote import from any source: adapters for your formats, no manual entry.
Reconciliation
Reconciliation of deals with your core banking system or ERP: candidates, confirmation and discrepancy control. One core system is already covered by a ready adapter; others are built to the data composition.
Cash by branch
Banknote position across network nodes, transfers and balances per currency.
Limits and roles
Limit control, role separation and an audit trail of user actions.
Deals and instruments
Conversions, swaps, deposits and futures in one registry. Manual entry, editing, export.
Payment position
Plan against actual, in real time
The payment position is assembled from every flow and reconciled in real time.
Planned payments from deals
Payments generated by deals.
Matching planned vs actual
Reconciling planned against actual: manual and automatic.
Accepted, not yet executed
Client payments accepted for processing but not yet executed.
Executed incoming (client)
Incoming client payments actually credited.
Executed outgoing (client)
Outgoing client payments actually sent.
Live payment position
The resulting payment position per currency.
| USD | +4,820,000 |
| EUR | -1,265,000 |
| CNY | +730,000 |
Live rates, not from a spreadsheet
Live quotes import from any source. Position and P/L are recomputed against the live market, not yesterday's file.

| GBP/USD | 1.3450 | -3,150 |

| XAG/USD | 58.0000 | +1,940 |
See it remotely
We show the working prototype over a video call. Nothing to install, no access to your systems required.
Prototype demo — remote
We get on a call and show the platform running on our own data: FX, payment and cash position, rates, limits, operation log. We answer your team's questions.
Deployment — a separate conversation
Installing inside your perimeter, integrating with your core banking system or ERP and configuring adapters is a project of its own. Functional requirements and acceptance criteria are fixed in a document before the work starts. Scope, timeline and terms are discussed after the demo, once your actual needs are clear.
Who it is for
For desks that need position control every day, without a full front-office platform.
- Banks
- Correspondent accounts, limits and core-system reconciliation
- Brokers
- Own and client funds position
- Financial companies
- Treasury without heavy bank infrastructure
- Corporate treasuries
- Group FX position and the payment calendar
The interface is fully bilingual, Russian and English, for mixed teams.
Security and operations
Inside the bank's closed network
Deployed inside your perimeter. No internet access required — except a channel for market quotes, if you provide one. Runs on Linux. Its own database: core banking records are read only.
Roles and access
Administrator, dealer, position keeper, back office — permissions separated across screens, currencies and operations.
Audit trail
A journal of user actions with the history of position changes. Imported records are kept apart from manual ones, and imported records cannot be edited.
You can see it working
A dedicated screen shows whether imports are running, how fresh the data is and whether the database responds. The same state is exposed to your monitoring system.
Your next reconciliation can be continuous

Data never leaves your network
The demo runs on our prototype. In production the platform works inside your infrastructure and data stays in your network.
